Art Program

Since 2004, our community has provided a space for people to express themselves creatively through art. Open four morning each week as part of our Morning Hospitality program, our Art Program is facilitated by a dedicated group of volunteers who invite people to paint, draw, write, and craft, while providing the necessary support. Our community members who have no where to store their art can leave it with us and continue to work on their projects every morning that the Art Program is open. People can display their art in our building, at our art exhibits, or take it with them to share and hang in their new homes.

We are always in need of art supplies
Pencils, paints, brushes, canvases, notebooks, and quality art paper are always needed.

We are always in need of volunteers
No experience is needed to volunteer, and we always partner new volunteers with more experienced volunteers. Please contact us if you want to share your passion for art with our community members.

Summer Art Workshops
As is tradition, our volunteers will be providing 7 weeks of art workshops this summer, starting July 9. The workshops will focus on bookmaking, sketching, writing, watercolors, acrylics, collage, and bead making. This will lead up to our annual First Thursday Art Exhibit in September.

First Thursday Art Exhibit
Every September we open our worship space as an art gallery as part of the First Thursday art walk in Old Town when all of the art galleries are free. We display and celebrate the art created over the past year. If you would like to get involved, please email:
